The Suite, Inc. is a collection of C-Suite communities including The L Suite and The F Suite. This role would primarily support The L Suite and its subcommunities - TechGC, FundGC, PubGC, Deputy, and Counsel.

The L Suite is an independent, invitation-only community for GCs & CLOs and their teams, focusing on venture capital firms, high-growth companies, and public companies. Our mission is to help our members do their day-to-day jobs better and excel throughout their careers.

We have 4,000+ members around the globe, with formal chapters in 11 cities, including Boston, Chicago, New York, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. We host 300+ private events throughout the year across the United States, Europe, and virtually.

About the Job

This position is a unique opportunity to work with C-Suite level executives from thousands of member firms and companies in order to build and grow a truly game-changing community.

We are looking for a highly motivated, personable, and organized associate to support our Content Team across our national event programming. This person will support our Managers, Directors, and Senior Directors of Content to develop and execute content, including for our Live and Virtual Conferences.

Our ideal candidate has experience in the legal and/or startup industries, has intense innate curiosity, a passion for learning, and desire to produce the best legal event content in the industry. The right candidate will enjoy managing multiple projects and stakeholders at a time, be highly organized, providing clear communication with both internal and external teams, and will have excellent research skills. We are known for our event content, so this is an incredible opportunity for someone who is curious about events, educational content, startups, team operations, and the legal space.

Please note, this is NOT a marketing or social media role.

Responsibilities

  • Researching the trending legal topics that will be top of mind for members, and staying abreast of current events.

  • Identifying prospective speakers (from our members, our law firm partners, and from external sources) for each program.

  • Helping the Content Team work with speakers to prepare their presentations.

  • Supporting onsite for each live and virtual conference (e.g. running the speaker ready room, running Q&A, helping manage timing).

  • Coordinating with our Continuing Legal Education Content Analyst to support, in partnership with the American Bar Association.

  • Supporting and organizing the Content Team in working against multiple deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Supporting the Content Team in reporting team KPIs, weekly updates, and event feedback.

  • Creating and populating team dashboards in Airtable.

  • Working towards being able to independently run a webinar and/or virtual panel.

  • Reports to a Senior Director of Content.

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college or university, or comparable work experience.

  • Demonstrable interest in educational content, startups, and/or community building.

  • Proficiency in Airtable and/or project management skills are a plus - not required.

  • Background or experience in the education field (learning experience design/instructional design) and/or legal operations a plus - not required.

Salary Range

  • $70,000-$75,000
