Director of CFO Programming, The F Suite

What We’re Looking For

This position is a unique opportunity to work hand-in-hand with C-Suite level executives from hundreds of technology startups, public companies and venture capital firms in order to build a truly game-changing community platform.

We are looking for a highly motivated, personable, and organized director to lead and own content across our national event program, working closely with a small internal team and partnering with prominent members of our community as well as industry-leading tech platforms, advisers, financial institutions and law firms, amongst others.

This person will own the event content strategy, ideation and execution (including theme, agenda, format, speaker selection and preparation, and run of show) for a portion of our virtual event programming (i.e., virtual forums/conferences, panels, demo days and webinars).

Our ideal candidate has experience in the finance and/or startup ecosystems, has intense and innate curiosity, a passion for learning, and desire to produce the best finance event content in the industry. The ideal candidate is likely scouring tech-focused publications (e.g. Techcrunch, Crunchbase), reviewing the markets or deals sections of major newspapers and/or following the latest “tech-focused” podcasts or interview shows.

The right candidate will enjoy managing multiple projects and stakeholders, providing clear communication to sponsors and speakers for every event (including the leaders at prominent tech companies like Lyft, AirBnb, Coinbase, etc.). We are known for our event content, so this is an incredible opportunity for someone who loves events, educational content, startups and finance.

Lastly, the candidate not only shows a passion for creating experiences that give our member CFOs tactical and practical advice they cannot read/watch/consume anywhere else, but can exhibit larger-picture thinking with regards to potential sponsor engagements, and also creating buzz on LinkedIn and other social media channels to highlight/accentuate the work they are already doing.

Please note, this is NOT a marketing role.

About The Suite

We build high-quality and highly-curated professional communities. We run three such communities today:

The L Suite, (which includes our flagship network TechGC), for General Counsels & CLOs of high-growth private companies, public companies, and investment funds.

The F Suite
, for CFOs of high-growth private companies and venture funds.

The E Suite
, for CEOs of high-growth private companies.

Each of our communities is unique, but they are all powered by our custom-built platform which our members like to call “the Braintrust.”

We currently have 4,800+ paid members across our communities, representing C-Suite executives from many of today’s leading tech companies (e.g., Airbnb, Slack, Coinbase, Uber, Notion, Bolt, Figma, Airtable, Dropbox, etc.) and venture funds (e.g., a16z, Softbank, Tiger, Accel, Thrive, Battery Ventures, FirstMark, etc.).

On the other side of our communities, we have built deep partnerships with the top law firms (e.g., Latham, Cooley, WSGR, Fenwick, Goodwin, S&C, Davis Polk, etc.), legal/fintech vendors (e.g., Ironclad, LinkSquares, DataGrail, Lawtrades, Morgan Stanley at Work, NPM, Oracle Netsuite, SpendFlo, etc.), and professional service providers (e.g., Aon, Deloitte, EY, Franklin Square Group, Newfront, etc.) that support these executives. These partners engage with our members as thought leaders and valued advisors/resources, and we foster a unique environment where the two sides of our ecosystem can connect through targeted education, networking, and support.

Our mission is to help today’s leaders make better and faster decisions that propel their companies forward. One of the core ways we are able to do that is by connecting our members to the right peers, advisors, and tools at the right time.

We are a well-funded and rapidly scaling startup with a high-impact team of 60+ full-time employees.
