Member Marketing Operations Manager

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic Member Marketing Ops Manager or Senior Manager to join our Member Experience Team. This role is crucial for spearheading member engagement strategies and retention initiatives across all communities at The Suite.

Our members enjoy so many valuable services, and we need help ensuring the right services get in front of the right members’ eyes at the right time. You will play a vital role in shaping our email marketing endeavors for these services, including large-scale events, curated small-group events, new products and services, content offerings, new member initiatives, and much more.

As a key member of our Member Experience (MX) team, you will be charged with managing multiple stakeholders’ needs and proposing strategic marketing communications solutions. You’ll report to the Head of Member Experience at The Suite and closely collaborate with many teams, including the Heads of Community, Events, Product, Partnership, and Content teams.

You’ll start by focusing on email marketing and grow into tackling different member lifecycle marketing strategies, including member onboarding, merchandise, in-product marketing, event marketing, video, and similar.

This role demands acute attention to detail, willingness to navigate a fast-paced company where things change frequently, and passion for analyzing what works/what doesn’t and being ready to pivot, optimize, and learn.

As the Member Marketing Manager, you will primarily be responsible for …

  • Take ownership of all member email marketing, including the strategic planning, crafting and execution of email communications to our members.

  • Support product/service marketing efforts by co-creating compelling go-to-market plans and operationally executing them.

  • Analyze performance data and derive insights to inform targeted marketing strategies, segmentation, and personalized messaging, both with embedded tools and your own analyses (ie, excel, google sheets, et al) to generate insights that drive and inform marketing strategies.

  • Continuously optimize marketing campaigns based on performance metrics, A/B testing, and user feedback, ensuring maximum impact and ROI.

  • Collaborate closely with the MX and Community teams to ensure a seamless member lifecycle, from activation to renewal.

  • Be experienced with and/or keenly aware of our executive audience: our members are top executives at top firms around the world, and they understandably have a lot that demand their attention.

  • Have experience balancing various stakeholder demands with overall parent brand marketing strategy and principles. Educate and enforce our core messaging to ensure consistent communication across all communities.

About The Suite

Our mission at The Suite is to help executives excel in their roles by connecting them with their closest peers who are tackling similar challenges, enabling them to make better decisions faster, achieving success for their companies and in their careers.

We do this by building exclusive, highly curated professional communities designed for C-Suite executives at high growth companies and funds, and their direct reports. We have two active communities today - The L Suite for legal executives (which includes our flagship, TechGC, for CLOs/GCs) and The F Suite for CFOs/senior finance executives. Additional communities are currently in development with expected launches throughout this year.

We currently have more than 4,800 paid members across our communities, representing C-Suite executives from many of today’s leading tech companies (Airbnb, Airtable, Bolt, Coinbase, Dropbox, Figma, Meta, Notion, Slack, Uber, etc.) and venture funds (Accel, Battery, Bessemer, FirstMark, Foundry, Sequoia, etc.). We also have deep partnerships with top law and professional services firms and technology vendors that service these executives.

Each of our communities is unique, but they are all powered by “the Braintrust” - our custom-built member platform which forms the foundation for our mission. The Braintrust is the first place members turn when faced with a work-related issue, and the place where they have their most important conversations. Members also come together at world-class in-person conferences, events, dinners and virtual event forums that are included with membership.

We are a highly-profitable and rapidly-scaling startup with a fully remote team of 50+.
